The Society for Experimental Biology (SEB) is a non-profit registered charity, dedicated to the promotion of all aspects of experimental biology. The Society is run by an office staff and elected officers serving on committees. It is organised into three sections: Animal, Cell and Plant, which in turn are organised into a number of specialised groups covering a broad area of comparative physiology, cell and molecular biology. Association of Applied Biologists (AAB)
The Association of Applied Biologists (AAB) caters for specialist interests through its group structure: Entomology, Nematology, Pesticide Application, Plant Microbial Interactions, Plant Physiology, Plant Breeding, Post-Harvest Biology, Virology and Weeds and Agronomy.
