nasen

With nearly sixty branches across the country nasen is the leading organisation in the UK which aims to promote the education, training, advancement and development of all those with special educational needs. nasen has over 8,000 members and reaches a huge readership through its journals: British Journal of Special EducationSupport for Learning, Journal of Research in Special Educational Needs and the magazine Special.

nasen is a growing and evolving organisation. The Association offers the following services to its members as part of a subscription:

  • Support for Learning - published quarterly;

  • British Journal of Special Education - published quarterly;

  • Special - published bimonthly;

  • Practical publications dealing with language development, literacy, mathematics, policy and staff development, emotional and behavioural difficulties, autism and classroom management;
