Call for Papers: Regional Issue, 2015: India - welfare in a rapidly developing economy

This regional issue of Social Policy & Administration will focus on India, a rapidly developing economy in Asia. The ambition is to analyze and present how India has developed its welfare policy given the economic development, but also demographic challenges. The central topic of this regional issue will be the strong and weak points in India's welfare policies. Focus can be on a specific social policy element (for example employment, pension, work-life balance, social assistance or financing) or it can compare India with other countries.

Call for Papers: Regional Issue, 2015: Europeanization of Welfare

This regional issue of Social Policy & Administration will focus on the possible impact of Europeanisation of welfare. The ambition is to analyze and present how and if welfare states in Europe has been influenced by Europeanization. What are the strong and weak points in the impact on one or more nation states. Focus can be on a specific social policy element (for example employment, pension, work-life balance, social assistance or financing) or it can be also be articles comparing countries. They can be theoretical or empirical driven papers.
