Professors Kai Cao and Bo Huang invite application to the forthcoming TGIS special issue focused the interaction between spatial optimization and land use planning. The spatial context of modern land use planning brings a great deal of complexity into associated considerations and as such this special issue seeks to develop a research agenda into this area of domain.
