Special Issue on Creativity
Recently, a symposium was held at the City University of Hong Kong on the theme of ‘Discourse and Creativity’. The event attracted speakers and participants from many universities worldwide, who approached the topic from a wide range of perspectives, including those of World Englishes. The papers that are included in this special issue largely derive from that symposium, with particular reference to the issue of creativity in the Hong Kong and Chinese contexts.
