wo of Economica's most famous articles are the inspiration for the Economica Annual Lecture Series in conjunction with the Department of Economics at the London School of Economics.

The next lecture is on the 9th February 2012. Given by Christopher Pissarides and titled "OECD Labour Markets in the Great Recession", the lecture will take place in our regular venue of the Old Theatre, with a reception to follow in the Atrium. This promises to be an especially popular event, with tickets required for entry. More information can be found here.
Economica Phillips Lecture by Thomas Sargent
Thomas Sargent has been awarded the 2011 Nobel Prize for Economics, jointly with Christopher Sims, fortheir joint work on the cause-and-effect relationship between policy and the economy.
