The Editors of Higher Education Quarterly are pleased to present a Special Collection of content, in conjunction with the theme of the 2011 SRHE Annual Research Conference:-

"The contents of Higher Education Quarterly reflect current research into and thinking about policy and practice in higher education. As shown in the papers outlined below, this includes issues around student participation, academic roles and identities, and the implications of government strategy for institutional agendas and profiles. The journal has an international reach and seeks to publish comparative material whenever possible. The analysis and commentary it provides are of relevance to academic staff, researchers, and policy makers."
