Aims and Scope

First published in 1948, the International Social Security Review is the world’s major international quarterly publication in the field of social security. Articles by leading social security experts around the world present international comparisons and in-depth discussions of topical questions as well as studies of social security systems in different countries, and there are regular reviews of the latest publications in its field.

The journal is published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of the International Social Security Association (ISSA). The ISSA is the world's leading international organization bringing together national social security administrations and agencies. The ISSA provides information, research, expert advice and platforms for members to build and promote dynamic social security systems and policy.
