This virtual issue is designed to highlight selected articles that have recently been published
in the Autonomic Neuroscience section of Experimental Physiology for those attending the 2013 SfN Meeting. Articles will be freely accessible online until the end of 2013.

For more articles published in this area (since 2004) see the Experimental Physiology Autonomic Neuroscience collection. (all content is made freely accessible 12 months after issue publication).

Experimental Physiology publishes high quality, original, physiological research papers that give novel insights into fundamental homeostatic and adaptive responses in health and papers that further our knowledge of pathophysiological mechanisms in diseases. We welcome papers that embrace the journal’s orientation of translation and integration.

Specifically, we are keen to receive manuscripts reporting investigations of physiological and pathophysiological mechanisms using bioinformatic, genomic, molecular, proteomic, cellular and whole animal approaches. Novel methodological papers are also encouraged. For more information about about Experimental Physiology, visit our homepage.
