The Anatomical Society awards up to 3 Research Studentships per year to be held in departments of anatomical sciences in the UK and Ireland.

Best Paper Award
Winner Best Paper 2010 (to be presented at the Anatomical Society Meeting, Edinburgh 10-12th July 2012)
Investigating gradients of gene expression involved in early human cortical development

The paper will be presented by co-author Dr Nadhim Bayatti Ip on 12th July 2012 at the Society’s bipartite Summer Meeting in Edinburgh.
The Best Paper Prize is awarded by the joint Editor-in-Chief's of the Journal of Anatomy for the paper the editors judged to be the most outstanding paper published in the considered year. A prize of £1,000 plus an online subscription to the Journal is awarded.
