Udo Schuklenk works as a Professor of Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at Queen's University in Canada. Prior to this he held professorial appointments at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland and the University of the Witwatersrand Faculty of Health Sciences. He has worked at Monash University's Centre for Human Bioethics and at the University of Central Lancashire Centre for Professional Ethics. Udo is a German born bioethicist and before he came to Canada he worked at Australian, British and German and South African universities.
With his good friend and colleague Ruth Chadwick, Udo is a Joint Editor in Chief of Bioethics, and is also the founding editor of a journal that is now firmly established as the number one professional outlet for bioethics content pertaining to developing world issues. This journal is Developing World Bioethics. Both journals are listed in major indices including MedLine.
Debora Diniz is an anthropologist by training and she has been working with feminist ethics for the last ten years. She is one of the co-founders of a feminist NGO dedicated to promoting bioethics and human rights in Brazil.
