Letters in Applied Microbiology

Zoonoses Virtual Issue

Letters in Applied Microbiology provides for the rapid publication of short, high quality papers in the broad field of applied microbiology, which include zoonoses. Advances in rapid methodology are a particular feature. This virtual issue aims to provide a clear example of the breadth of high quality papers in the field of zoonoses published in Letters in Applied Microbiology mainly over the last year. The selected manuscripts covered an extensive range of microbial pathogens including Salmonella spp., Escherichia coli, Campylobacter spp., Bacillus anthracis, mycobacteria, but also Francisella spp., Leptospira spp., Lawsonia intracellularis, Pasteurella multocida (2001), protozoa such as cryptosporidium and avian influenza.
