Author Guidelines

The journal will accept for publication suitable manuscripts dealing with the aetiology, diagnosis and treatment of allergic (and related) diseases. These might include the study of methods of controlling allergic reactions, human and animal models of hypersensitivity and other aspects of basic and applied clinical allergy in its broadest sense. We encourage single-case reports provided they focus on a topic of extreme contemporary interest. Papers reporting the results of drug trials will be considered but only if they shed light on pathogenetic mechanisms or present the results of entirely novel pharmacological agents.

The journal also publishes solicited and unsolicited review articles on subjects of topical interest to experimental and clinical allergists. It does not in general publish papers of a primarily methodological nature. Papers will be accepted for publication provided they meet these requirements and provided they have not been and will not be published elsewhere, in whole or in part. Papers accepted become copyright of the journal.

Suggestions for reviewers

To expedite the review process, the editors request that authors provide the names, addresses, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address (if known) of up to three potential reviewers. These individuals should not be recent collaborators or co-authors, nor should they have provided substantial advice or critiques to the authors in the conduct of their work. The editors will take these suggestions into account when assigning reviewers.
