"Brexit" Referendum Virtual Issue

Introduction

In light of the Dutch referendum on the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement and the upcoming "Brexit" referendum on EU membership in the United Kingdom, the European Journal of Political Research is happy to present this virtual issue on political contestation in and over the European Union (EU). The various articles offer original insights into the shifting perception of and struggle over European integration, including the rising Euroscepticism on the radical poles of the political spectrum.
