With over 3,500 members from more than 60 countries worldwide, the British Pharmacological Society is a global community at the heart of pharmacology. The Society is a charity with a mission to promote and advance pharmacology in all its forms, across academia, industry, regulatory agencies and the health service.
Founded in 1931, it is the primary UK learned society concerned with drugs and the way they work, and now leads the way in the research and application of pharmacology around the world. To find out more and to become a member, visit www.bps.ac.uk.
One of the many benefits of BPS membership is free online access (including via the app) to both BPS subscription journals—British Journal of Pharmacology and British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology.
The BPS also jointly publishes, with ASPET, Pharmacology Research and Perspectives¸ an open access journal. BPS members are entitled to a 10% discount on the article publication charge when submitting to Pharmacology Research and Perspectives.
