About the Editor
The Editor of the AJES is Clifford W. Cobb. He has a Master's in Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
Cobb has worked in the nonprofit sector, throughout his career, primarily on issues related to social indicators, the economics of environmental sustainability, the future development path of China, and the constitutive principles of a just society. Most recently he has worked as the Program Director of the Robert Schalkenbach Foundation in New York and as a representative of the Institute for Postmodern Development of China. He was the executive producer of the 2009 film "The End of Poverty?" and the author of the companion book, Why Global Poverty?.
Cobb is the author of Responsive Schools, Renewed Communities (ICS, 1992), co-author of The Green National Product (University Press of America, 1994) and has edited two books in the AJES series on economic reform and social justice: The Path to Justice (with Joseph A. Giacalone, 2001), and After the Crash (2009).
