Injury Prevention Virtual Issue

Welcome to the Injury Prevention Virtual Issue

Compiled by Manya Newton, Sonia Kamat, Kevin Loh, and Rebecca Cunningham, in conjunction with the University of Michigan Injury Center.

The injury prevention “virtual issue” is a collection of key articles from Academic Emergency Medicine which focuses on the different types of injury that the emergency physician might encounter, including both intentional (domestic violence, assault, suicide, weapons) and unintentional (drugs/alcohol, poisoning, sports). The epidemiology of injury is also covered. This virtual issue will be updated on an ongoing basis as new articles are published.
