New Book Review Editor
Colin Snider - University of Texas at Tyler
The Latin Americanist is pleased to announce that Colin Snider of the University of Texas at Tyler will join the editorial board of The Latin Americanist as the new books review editor. Colin Snider is a seasoned history instructor at the university. He has authored chapters in two edited volumes ["'A More Systemic Fight for Reform': University Reform, Student Movements, Society, and the State in Brazil, 1957-1968," in Samantha Christiansen and Zachary Scarlett, eds., The Third World in the Global 1960s (2013); and "Catholic Campuses, Secular Struggles: Student Activism and Catholic Universities in Brazil, 1950-1970," in Stephen J.C. Andes and Julia C. Young, Local Church, Global Church: Catholic Activism in the Americas before Vatican II (March 2015)] and many academic papers, mostly featuring student activism in Brazil.
