2015: Colon Cancer Virtual Issue

From a life in the shadows, colorectal cancer has during the last few years been brought into focus. Several countries have either implemented or are planning population screening procedures, and individualised chemotherapy based on genetic changes in tumour cells has become standard treatment. By devoting a virtual issue to the latest colorectal research published in APMIS, the journal wishes to emphasise the importance of continuing the scientific exploration of this frequent cancer form.
