Melatonin and Cardiac Arrest
A study published in the Journal of Pineal Research noted that circadian rhythms influenced heart rate and blood pressure. According to the study, melatonin also has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and, possibly, even gene-regulating functions that influence cardiovascular health.
