IBANGS, the International Behavioural and Neural Genetics Society, was founded in 1996 and works to promote the field of neurobehavioural genetics. The society is a founding member of the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS)
IBANGS organises regular meetings to promote excellence in research on behavioural and neural genetics and is a young and rapidly growing society with already about 500 members in Europe, North and South America, and Australasia. IBANGS not only welcomes established scientists but also students and any other persons interested in the field of behavioural neurogenetics.
