Each year the Society for Empirical Legal Studies (SELS) convenes the Conference on Empirical Legal Studies (CELS), designed to present empirical and experimental scholarship on legal issues. CELS brings together scholars in law, economics, political science, criminology, finance, psychology, sociology, health care, and a wide range of other disciplines. JELS publishes an annual conference issue, with papers drawn from the current CELS conference.
