Every March the editors of New Blackfriars host the Annual Aquinas Colloquium, which all are welcome to attend. The 2012 colloquium took place on March 3rd, on the theme of Participation and Analogy. Speakers included Professor Rudi te Velde, Dr Janet Martin-Soskice, Professor David Burrell and Dr Stephen Mulhall.

Part of The Order of Preachers is the Aquinas Institute, which aims to foster study of St Thomas at Oxford through seminars, occasional conferences,
summer schools, and programmes that will bring international research scholars to the university each year. The Institute seeks to foster the study of St Thomas from three perspectives: theological, philosophical, and from the viewpoint of medieval studies.
