Dominic FenechDominic Fenech is a professor of modern and contemporary history, head of the History Department and dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Malta.  He studied history at the University of Malta and was elected Rhodes Scholar to study at the University of Oxford, from where he obtained his D.Phil in modern history. Professor Fenech teaches modern and contemporary Maltese and international history with a focus on the Mediterranean.  His main research interests are Maltese constitutional history and current political development, and contemporary Mediterranean international relations.  He has been writing for PDY since it started being published.
