Darina MalovaDarina Malová is Professor at the Department of Political Science, Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia, where she also graduated in 1981 with a degree in Philosophy. She received PhD from Academy of Social Science in Moscow. Her research interests include nationalism, ethnic and minority issues, development of the national parliament, constitution-making process, institutionalization of party system and representation of organized interest and the European integration. Her recent publications include Governing New Democracies (with Jean Blondel and Ferdinand Mueller-Rommel, Palgrave 2007) and From Listening to Action: New Member States in the European Union. (Devin, 2010).  

Peter Ucen

Peter Učeň studied political science in Bratislava (Comenius), Budapest (CEU) and Florence (IUE). He specialised in post-Communist parties and party systemes and more recently in populism and anti-establishment politics. He has been  working in the field of democracy promotion focusing on assisting political parties in strangthening their party-building capacities.
