American Council on Consumer Interests
Since 1953, the American Council on Consumer Interests (ACCI) has been--and remains today--the leading membership organization for academics and other professionals involved in consumer and family economics.ACCI is the leading consumer policy research and education organization consisting of a world wide community of researchers, educators and related professionals dedicated to enhancing consumer well-being. ACCI promotes the consumer interest by encouraging, producing and communicating policy-relevant research.

British Academy of Management
The British Academy of Management represents the interests of management research to the Economic and Social Research Council and other bodies with involvement in management education and research. The Academy continues to advance the cause of management research and to press for increased funding for this purpose. It also encourages greater collaboration between academic and commercial organisations in pursuit of higher quality research and greater use of the findings in improving British management.

Institute for Research on Labor and Employment
The Institute for Research on Labor and Employment (IRLE) is an "Organized Research Unit" of the University of California at Berkeley. IRLE was founded in 1945. IRLE brings together faculty from several academic departments and supports multidisciplinary research about labor and employment relations. It publishes the widely respected academic journal, Industrial Relations: A Journal of Economy and Society, and houses an important research library that collects and preserves a wide array of information about work, organizations and labor issues.

Institute for Supply Management
Founded in 1915, the Institute is the largest supply management association in the world as well as one of the most respected. ISM’s mission is to lead the supply management profession through its standards of excellence, research, promotional activities, and education. ISM’s membership base includes more than 41,000 supply management professionals with a network of domestic and international affiliated associations. ISM is a not-for-profit institute that provides opportunities for the promotion of the profession and the expansion of professional skills and knowledge.

International Council for Small Business
The International Council for Small Business (ICSB) serves as an umbrella organization that integrates the activities of diverse organizations and professionals who deal directly with small business. An international organization of over 2000 members, it creates and distributes new information on small business management and entrepreneurial development. Ideas drawn from government, education, and commerce are provided to the small business community through the efforts of Council members.

Product Development and Management Association

PDMA's mission is to improve the effectiveness of people engaged in developing and managing new products - both new manufactured goods and new services. This mission includes facilitating the generation of new information, helping convert this information into knowledge which is in a usable format, and making this new knowledge broadly available to those who might benefit from it. A basic tenet of the Association is that enhanced product innovation represents a desirable and necessary economic goal for firms that wish to achieve and retain a profitable competitive advantage in the long term.

Production and Operations Management Society
Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) is an international professional organization representing the interests of POM professionals from around the world. The purposes of the Society are to extend and integrate knowledge that contributes to the improved understanding and practice of production and operations management (POM), to disseminate information on POM to managers, scientists, educators, students, public and private organizations, national and local governments, and the general public and to promote the improvement of POM and its teaching in public and private manufacturing and service organizations throughout the world.

Program on Negotiation
The Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School (PON) is an applied research center committed to improving the theory and practice of negotiation and dispute resolution. PON is an inter-university consortium, involving faculty, students and staff from a variety of departments and schools at Harvard, as well as from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. Scholars from a variety of disciplines and professional schools work collaboratively on PON-sponsored projects, in the areas of research and theory building, education and training, and expanding public awareness of successful conflict management processes. Although conflict is inevitable, members of the Program share a belief that individuals, organizations and communities can learn to settle disputes more effectively.

RADMA: Research and Development Management
In 1967 a research unit dedicated to studies in the management of research and development was established at the Manchester Business School, University of Manchester, UK. In 1969 a decision was taken to launch a new publication dedicated to the area of research and development, the R&D Management Journal. RADMA subsequently emerged as a means of encouraging personal subscriptions to the journal and later, more widely, as a support for the field in general.
