The AGU journal backfile (the Digital Library) spans more than a century of knowledge with 674,174 pages of content and is a tremendous resource to science.
The American Geophysical Union and Wiley would like to acknowledge and thank many of our customers who have expressed concern over loss of access to the AGU backfile due to previously communicated changes in leasing options and pricing.
To enable the broadest dissemination and access of this content to our valued customers and the Earth and space science community, we are pleased to inform you of the following changes to the AGU Digital Library journal backfile pricing effective immediately.
A lease option will continue to be available to existing customers with a nominal price increase for an additional two years (for 2013 and 2014).
In 2013 the price increase on the lease will be 5%.
In an effort to accommodate strained library budgets we have also reduced the full purchase price and will offer payment installment options where you can spread the purchase price over two to three years.
In 2013 the prices will be: Small $12,000 Medium $16,500 Large $21,500
