Call for Applications: Editor Positions Available

Pediatric Blood & Cancer
seeks new Deputy Editor

The Official Journal of The American Society of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and the International Society of Paediatric Oncology, publishes 14 issues per year of the highest quality manuscripts describing basic and clinical investigations of blood disorders and malignant diseases of childhood, including diagnosis, treatment, epidemiology, etiology, biology, and molecular and clinical genetics of these diseases as they affect children, adolescents, and young adults. The Journal will also include studies on such treatment options as hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, immunology, and gene therapy.

 

The term of the current Editor-in-Chief will end with the last issue of 2016 (Volume 63, Number 14). The Deputy Editor’s three-year term will begin immediately upon appointment in September 2013 through December 2016, during which time a gradual transition to Editor-in-Chief of the Journal will occur, with the Deputy Editor assuming full duties of Editorship after three years.   

 

Applications should be addressed to the Acting Chair of the Joint Publications Committee, and must be submitted by June 1, 2013.

Journal of Surgical Oncology
seeks new Editor-in-Chief

The Journal of Surgical Oncology, published in 16 issues a year, offers peer-reviewed, original papers in the fi eld of surgical oncology and broadly related surgical sciences, including reports on experimental and laboratory studies related to surgical oncology.

 

In the summer of 2013, Dr. Walley Temple will end his term as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal.The Search Committee now invites applications for the available position. The new Editor-in-Chief should be recognized as leaders in surgical oncology with a broad background in basic science and clinical medicine, and will officially assume responsibility as soon as all preparations are made and duties are completely transferred.
