Research on Human Rights
Perspectives from the Social Sciences

"Where, after all, do universal human rights begin? In small places, close to home -- so close and so small that they cannot be seen on any maps of the world." Eleanor Roosevelt

It’s 1948 in New York. Eleanor Roosevelt brings together the first meeting of the Drafting committee on an International Bill of Human Rights. As she utters these words, the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is born. Today, the Declaration remains as relevant as ever.

Wiley brings together a collection of relevant research on Human Rights, right across the program of Social Science.
