Current Clinical Imaging
An Exciting New Book Series in Clinical Radiology
Richard C. Semelka, MD, Editor-in-Chief
Current Clinical Imaging is a book series offering beautifully produced diagnostic radiology books that deal with emergent, cutting-edge techniques and applications in radiology. The series has three primary goals:
• To clearly show correlations between two or more imaging modalities, especially MRI and CT;
• To offer the latest information on the use and application of emerging hybrid radiologic technologies. This goes beyond correlation of images captured by separate machines or techniques into the development of new hardware and software that actually combine imaging modalities into one tool, for example PET/CT scanners; and
• To identify and discuss radiology best practices and radiology safety.
Each book in the new series will be authored or edited by carefully selected pairs or teams of both experienced, eminent verterans of the field, as well as up-and-coming experts who are using, exploring, and publishing seminal and essential work in the latest imaging techniques and applications in their own clinical and academic practices.
Watch for the first book in the series, Liver Imaging: MRI with CT Correlation, publishing in summer 2012. If you have an idea for a book that may fit into this series, please contact Thom Moore, Senior Editor, at tmoore@wiley.com.
