Abstract
The back cover picture shows a novel warhead against intraerythrocytic malaria parasites. Chloroquinoline–cinnamic acid conjugates display activities in the low nanomolar range against chloroquine‐resistant Plasmodium falciparum. In the image, the general structure of such conjugates is depicted targeting a blood schizont of the 3D7 Pf strain (image from Gut and Rosenthal).
