Networks Editor-in-Chief Dr. Bruce L. Golden has been honored with The Robert Herman Lifetime Achievement Award in Transportation Science!

Awarded by the INFORMS Transportation Science and Logistics Section, this honor is bestowed upon an individual who throughout his or her professional career has made fundamental and sustained contributions to transportation science and logistics, and has influenced the field through her or his writings, teaching, service, and nurturing of younger professionals. 

Special Issue Call for Papers

VeRoLog is the Working Group on Vehicle Routing and Logistics Optimization within EURO, the Association of the European Operational Research Societies. This special issue will follow the VeRoLog 2019 Conference organized in Seville, Spain.

Networks announces an upcoming Special Issue on Arc Routing Problems and Other Related Topics, based on WARP3, the 3rd International Workshop on Arc Routing Problems, which took place in Pizzo (Calabria, Italy) from May 27 to May 29, 2019. The special issue is not restricted to talks that were presented at WARP3 or to authors that attended the event. It is open to the entire Routing Community and gathers contributions on theoretical issues, methodological aspects and applications of interest for its members.

The submission deadline is November 15, 2019. Papers may be submitted by sending an email with the subject “Special Issue ‐ Networks”.

Special Issue Call for Papers

Networks announces an upcoming Special Issue on The future of city logistics and urban mobility. In this special issue, we are looking for a broad range of operational research papers that study these trends. Ideally, papers that capture the novelties of such trends in the interface between applications and models as well as the interface between models and methods. Papers that review the state of the art, present new solution methods, analyze and compare different business models will be considered. In particular, we welcome papers that set the foundation for future research on city logistics and urban mobility.

The submission deadline is January 31, 2020.
