Child: Care, Health and Development is a pediatrics journal welcoming studies examining the effects of social and environmental factors on health, physical development, and developmental psychology. We also welcome research concerning clinical issues, the organization of services and health policy. We particularly encourage submissions related to those who are disadvantaged by physical, developmental, emotional and social problems. The journal aims to collate important research findings and to provide a forum for discussion of global child health issues.

School Participation: Enhancing Inclusion, Development, and Empowerment
Submission Deadline: June 2025
This special issue of Child: Care, Health and Development aims to explore multidimensional aspects of school participation, including barriers and facilitators, effective teaching practices, the roles of family and caregivers, and systemic challenges. We also aim to highlight innovative strategies and interventions that can better support children with physical, developmental, emotional, or social needs in various educational contexts worldwide.
