Marine Ecology is an international marine biology journal devoted to the study of critical interactions between organisms, populations and communities with their surrounding environment, as well as the contribution of biodiversity to the functioning of marine ecosystems.

Our aim is to contribute to the knowledge of marine habitats and ecosystems, across regions at all latitudes and depths, to increase understanding of natural marine systems. We commit to publishing experimental research, field studies, metanalyses and reviews. Our published work provides findings of interest to a worldwide readership of ecologists!
