Protein Science, the flagship journal of The Protein Society, publishes original reports and review articles that advance fundamental knowledge, in the broadest sense, concerning protein molecules. The journal welcomes papers describing experimental and computational or theoretical studies focused on protein function, including analyses of mechanism, structure, folding, design, and evolution. Additionally, we invite papers discussing the practical applications of protein science in the areas of therapeutics, protein-based biomaterials, bionanotechnology, synthetic biology, and bioelectronics.
We are proud to announce and congratulate the winners of the 2023 Protein Science Best Paper awards: Evan T. Liechty (University of Colorado, USA) and Sophie Rizzo (Lehigh University, USA).
