Special Issue on Biomaterials for Wound Repair and Regeneration
The Editors of Wound Repair and Regeneration are assembling a special issue on biomaterials in wound healing. This issue will cover a broad spectrum of biomaterials research including the following topics:
- Pro-angiogenic materials
- Immunomodulatory materials
- Antimicrobial materials
- Novel material chemistries/surface modifications
- 3D printing of dressing materials or tissue engineered skin
- New discoveries in materials for delivery of cells/drugs/growth factors/extracellular vesicles
- Biomaterial control of cell fate within wounds or regenerated tissue
Original research articles, review articles and technical communications are welcome. Initial submissions are due by June 1, 2023.
