Special Issue on Biomaterials for Wound Repair and Regeneration

The Editors of Wound Repair and Regeneration are assembling a special issue on biomaterials in wound healing. This issue will cover a broad spectrum of biomaterials research including the following topics:

  • Pro-angiogenic materials
  • Immunomodulatory materials
  • Antimicrobial materials
  • Novel material chemistries/surface modifications
  • 3D printing of dressing materials or tissue engineered skin
  • New discoveries in materials for delivery of cells/drugs/growth factors/extracellular vesicles
  • Biomaterial control of cell fate within wounds or regenerated tissue 

Original research articles, review articles and technical communications are welcome. Initial submissions are due by June 1, 2023
