Wound Repair and Regeneration publishes extensive international coverage of cellular and molecular biology, connective tissue, and biological mediator studies in the field of tissue repair and regeneration. We are the official journal of The Wound Healing Society, The European Tissue Repair Society, The Japanese Society for Wound Healing, and The Australian Wound Management Association.
Special Issue on Photobiomodulation: The Art and Science of Cellular Healing
Photobiomodulation, a cutting-edge field in medical science, has emerged as a promising therapeutic approach that utilizes light to facilitate cellular healing and regeneration. Utilizing the healing properties of light and its interactions with cells, tissues, and organs, this interdisciplinary field blends concepts from biology, physics, and medicine. The potential of photobiomodulation to accelerate tissue healing and treat a variety of diseases is becoming more and more clear as researchers delve further into the complex mechanisms underpinning this process. In cellular healing, photobiomodulation is an exciting instance of merging art and science. Using the strength of light, we seek to open the door for further investigation and cooperation among researchers and practitioners through this Special Issue. Rolling submissions will be due on November 1, 2024 and appear online as they are accepted.
