New Editor in Chief

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Cheng-Che Eric Lan has been appointed as the new Editor in Chief for Photodermatology, Photoimmunology & Photomedicine. Dr. Lan received his MD degree from National Cheng-Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, and PhD degree from Kaohsiung Medical University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Currently, Dr. Lan is the Vice President for Global Affairs, Kaohsiung Medical University, as well as the Professor and Chair of the Dermatology Department at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital. Regarding his involvement in the scientific community, Dr. Lan is a board member of the Taiwanese Dermatological Association and the Taiwanese Society for Investigative Dermatology. Currently, he is also the section editor of the Journal of Dermatological Science and the secretary of the International Federation of Pigment Cell Societies. Dr. Lan is the author or co-author of more than 150 peer-reviewed papers in academic journals, and he focuses his academic research on photomedicine, pigmentary disorders, and wound healing. He enjoys clinical practice as much as academic research.
