The paper successfully solved the problem of corn unsound kernel detection efficiency and accuracy during grain storage in grain depots, starting with several steps of building corn unsound kernel image shooting equipment, image preprocessing, improving the StyleGANv2 network to expand the dataset, and improving the MobileVit network to improve the detection accuracy under lightweight conditions.

Detection of early bruises on apples using near‐infrared camera imaging technology combined with adaptive threshold segmentation algorithm

A method was proposed to detect early bruises on apples using near-infrared (NIR) camera imaging combined with adaptive threshold segmentation algorithm. The results show that the proposed algorithm has an accuracy of 95.56% for the detection of sound apples and an F1-score of 94.70% for the detection of early bruised samples.

The food industry benefits from this measurement because aroma provides relevant information about the quality, freshness, and safety of foods.
