|Sibylle Meyer: Sibylle Meyer obtained her diploma (MA) from the University of Heidelberg. She worked for the Institute for Standardization and Documentation in Medical Laboratories, Düsseldorf before joining Wiley in 2002.
|David Huesmann: David obtained his Diploma degree in biomedical chemistry and his Ph.D. in polymer chemistry from the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz where he focused on the synthesis of polypept(o)ids for drug and gene delivery. He joined Wiley in 2015 and is the Editor-in-Chief of Macromolecular Materials and Engineering and Deputy Editor for the other Macromolecular Journals as well as Advanced Therapeutics.
|Anne Pfisterer: Anne gained her Diploma degree from the University of Mainz and her PhD from the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research. She joined Wiley in 2012, and the team of the Macromolecular Journals in 2014 focusing on Macromolecular Bioscience.
|Stefan Spiegel: Stefan studied chemistry at the University of Mainz, Germany, and received his Ph.D. in 1995 from the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research, Mainz, for his work on solid-state NMR investigations on polymeric systems under the guidance of H. W. Spiess. He has worked as an editor of the Macromolecular journals since 1997, and at present he is the Editor-in-Chief of Macromolecular Theory & Simulations and of Macromolecular Reaction Engineering. Stefan also is the Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Applied Polymer Science and of Advanced Theory and Simulations.
|Mara Staffilani: Mara is the Editor-in-Chief of Macromolecular Chemistry and Physics and of Global Challenges. She is also Deputy Editor of the other Macromolecular Journals and Editor of Advanced Functional Materials and of the Journal of Applied Polymer Science.
Mara received her PhD in physical chemistry from the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands, in the group of Luisa De Cola for her studies on luminescent metal complexes for diagnostics applications. During her doctoral degree she spent two years in the research laboratories of Roche Diagnostics. She joined Wiley-VCH in 2003 and is based in the Weinheim office.
|Bo Weng: Bo obtained her B.Sc. at Beihang University (China). She subsequently obtained her Ph.D. degree in chemistry at the University of Wollongong (Australia) in December 2012. Bo joined Wiley in October 2016 and she is based in the Beijing office. Now she works as Editor in Chief for Macromolecular Rapid Communications, Deputy Editor of Advanced Materials and Macromolecular Journals.
|Bernadette Gmeiner: Bernadette obtained a Diploma in Biology from the University of Tübingen. She joined Wiley in 2008.
|Brenton Hammer: Received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2007, and Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering in 2013. He was a post-doctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research under the advisement of Professor Dr. Klaus Müllen from 2013-2016. After a couple years in academia, he joined the Wiley team in 2021 as an assistant editor.
|Joseph Krumpfer: Joseph Krumpfer received his B.S. degree in chemistry and B.A. in classical studies from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ in 2007 and then obtained his Ph.D. in polymer science and engineering from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst in 2012. He received an Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany, and then worked at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY as a professor of inorganic and polymer chemistry. He is currently an editor at Wiley.
|Julia Reuter: Julia Reuter obtained her Diploma degree in Human Biology from University Greifswald (Diploma thesis at SUNY Stony Brook on poliovirus biochemistry). She earned her PhD from the University of Heidelberg and German Cancer Research Center DKFZ in Heidelberg, jointly, where she worked on oncolytic viruses and cell death mechanisms. Julia joined Wiley in January 2006 as a commissioning editor for life sciences.
|Liying Wang: Liying Wang received her B.S. from Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU) and obtained her Ph. D. from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICCAS). She then continued her research at Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris VI) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) as a Postdoc Fellow. Her research focused on organic chemistry, material science and nanotechnology. In 2018, she joined Wiley as a Journal Publishing Manager and then took the position of peer-review editor in 2020.
|Kirsten Severing: Kirsten studied chemical engineering at the Fachhochschule Aachen before doing her Masters studies in physical chemistry at the Stockholm University in Sweden. In 2005 she received her Ph.D. from the Institute for Macromolecular Chemistry at the University of Freiburg for her work on solid-state NMR investigations on liquid crystalline polymers in the group of H. Finkelmann and K. Saalwächter. Kirsten joined Wiley-VCH in 2007 and is the publisher for the Macromolecular family of journals and editor-in-chief of Advanced Science.
|Christina Lauinger-Knischek: Christina Lauinger-Knischek joined Wiley in 2006. She is currently a member of the materials, physics, and life science administration team, and works as an assistant on Clean, Molecular Nutrition & Food Research, Particle, and Small Methods.
|Sahil Asija: Sahil has several years of work experience in publishing. Before joining the Macromolecular Journals he was a copy-editor and a project manager for loose-leaf publications and books in German and English. Sahil is based in Dehli, India.
