Marginal gaps were mostly unaffected by tooth form but were smaller with CAD/CAM preparations. The method used for measurement likely impacted results, with stereomicroscopy reporting smaller gaps than impression replica and digital superimposition techniques. Despite lithium disilicate being the most used, crown material choice showed no consistent effect on marginal gaps.
